The Quiet Cars
If you arrive by motorhome or train you may wish to rent a car to tour the area. We have a Fiat 500 Convertible and a Land Rover Defender both available for daily hire. These cars are fun and great for getting around the Lakes and seeing the sights. Both cars seat 4.
The Fiat seats 2 adults and 2 small children, and the Land Rover seats up to 4 adults.

Insurance
The simplest way to arrange your insurance is by adding to your own car insurance policy before you arrive. We will need to see the cover note before the hire commences. You can, alternatively, arrange the insurance on-line in The Quiet Site office with sites like www.tempcover.com.
The car should be returned clean and with a full tank of fuel.
With the exception of Penrith, the car must not leave the Lake District National Park.
