Environmental Policy
The Quiet Site as company is very aware of our impact on the environment. We are committed to Sustainable Tourism and have followed a sustainable policy for the last decade.
Some key points are:
- Minimise waste by evaluating operations.
- Minimise emissions through metering and the selection of appropriate power sources.
- Minimise the use of water consumption by metering, the use of aerated showers and taps, water harvesting and recycling.
- Monitor and where possible reduce power consumption through innovation and education and the use of renewable sources.
- Actively promote recycling both internally and amongst our customers.
- Source and promote a product range to minimise environmental impact. Wherever possible we use local suppliers.
- Evaluate understand and comply with environmental legislation that relates our operation
- Measure our Carbon Footprint and act on the findings to make changes where practicable
